Osteopath near Maastricht

Looking for an osteopath in the Maastricht area? I’m Cyriel Timmers, and I take a holistic approach, helping with both physical and mental complaints. With extensive experience in osteopathy and in-depth knowledge of the human body, I’m happy to help relieve pain from issues such as digestive complaints, sleep problems or injuries. Every treatment is tailored, because every complaint and every person is unique. Want to know more, or schedule an appointment at one of my three practice locations? Feel free to call me. I’m often with patients, so I’m not always reachable by phone right away — send me a message on WhatsApp instead, and I’ll call you back the same day.

What does an osteopath do?

An osteopath provides manual treatment for patients. Osteopathy is a holistic form of medicine that addresses both physical and mental complaints, as well as their underlying cause. Restrictions in freedom of movement are central to this approach. An osteopath sees the body as one interconnected whole, and uses mobilization techniques and manipulation of tissues that are connected to and influence one another, loosening these tissues, restoring balance, and resolving restrictions in movement.

What complaints can I help you with?

I work at three different locations in Limburg, so you’ll always find one close to home. For any of the complaints listed here — or a combination of them — feel free to get in touch, and together we’ll look at an osteopathic treatment plan.

An osteopathic treatment

Osteopathy addresses both physical and mental complaints. Your overall health improves with this kind of treatment. As an osteopath near Maastricht, I also look at the underlying cause of your symptoms, which means the results of an osteopathic treatment tend to be lasting. I support your body’s natural healing process using gentle manual techniques.

Cost of an osteopath in Maastricht

How much does osteopathy cost in the Maastricht area? With me, it depends on a few factors. Bringing your baby or child? A first consultation costs €80 and takes forty minutes; follow-up consultations cost €60 and take twenty minutes. As an adult, a first consultation of one hour costs €95, and each follow-up appointment is €80 (forty minutes). Some health insurers fully or partially reimburse osteopathic treatment through supplementary insurance (aanvullende verzekering) — it’s always worth checking with your insurer exactly what’s covered.

I treat young adults and adults

I also offer osteopathic treatment for young adults and adults. Do you often suffer from headaches, neck pain, back pain, digestive complaints or other issues? An osteopath near Maastricht can help with those too. Because I also focus on the deeper, underlying causes of your complaints, I’m a good option for recurring, chronic issues as well.

I also help babies and children

I specialize in treating babies and children. Osteopathy for infants and children can help with a wide range of complaints and issues — for example excessive crying, digestive problems or sleep issues. When treating your child or baby, I don’t just focus on relieving the complaint, but also look for its underlying cause. I work together with parents to support your baby’s or child’s development and health. Alongside this, you’ll find an overview of what I focus on when treating babies and children.

  • Supporting general development
  • Supporting the immune system
  • Increasing resistance
  • Promoting freedom of movement in the body
  • Treating issues such as concentration problems and learning difficulties
